What is the event about?
Dr Jenni Chambers, Head of RCUK () Public Engagement with Research, will be giving a presentation titled 'Contextualising Public Engagement with Research' which will focus on the future for Engaged Research.
Information:
Over the past decade RCUK, and other UK research funders, have undertaken a series of interventions, including the establishment of the , the , , RCUK Catalyst Seed Fund projects and the , all seeking to aid universities in recognising, rewarding and embedding public engagement with research.
The talk will outline the following:
- The impact of the above interventions
- What we have learnt along the way
- A speculative look to the future for public engagement with research
Who should attend?
This event is open to all University of ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ academic (including PGR) and Professional Services staff (research managers, administrators, project officers, events managers, etc.) who are interested in funding from Research Councils.
