Who should attend?
All researchers and key Professional Services are welcome to attend this event.
Workshop aims:
- An introduction to , a newly formed Community Interest Company seeking to address the current and futures problems faced by cities and ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ in particular.
- An opportunity to establish links between ECF and key academics / departments at the University.
- Identify potential collaborations (sharing of knowledge, resources, and data).
- Find out about the potential to partner on funding applications and the application of research project outcomes.

·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ City Futures (ECF) is a joint endeavour between ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ City Council, ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ-based venture capital fund Oxygen House, and a growing list of business and public sector stakeholders. The programme aims to develop cutting-edge approaches to city improvement through the use of technology and analytics, with the goal of delivering zero congestion and energy independence for ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ in 10 years.
The event will be chaired by Zoran Kapelan, Professor of Water Systems Engineering and Academic Lead for the Water and Environment Group.
