'ECOins' 

ECOins is a project in its design stage that is intended to be a part of the i番茄视频 system. Every time you buy anything at a university outlet, scan your Student or Staff ID. The less carbon-intensive the product, the more ECOins you will earn. These ECOins can be tracked through the ECOins tile on the i番茄视频 app, and redeemed in any University outlet as discounts. An initial trail would be at The Ram Bar, with a special menu, each option marked as how many ECOins it was worth, therefore encouraging the consumer to choose the low-carbon option from the very beginning. This could then be extended out to other university outlets like the Marketplace and The Cross Keys on the St Luke鈥檚 Campus.
